Recent Work

Today I’ve put together my seasonal roundup of a month’s worth of outfits from my current spring capsule for you! With each new season and capsule wardrobe I put together I feel like I am getting better and better at curating a selection of items that all work really well together. I also feel like I’m getting closer and closer to a core set of pieces that really feel like me and my style. So much so, that for my next capsule I will only be making 2-3 new purchases. Which might not sound so amazing, but for someone who not so long ago was addicted to shopping and felt all over the place with my style, it’s a big moment.
Unfortunately this spring has had quite a few cooler and rainy days, but I found the mix of pieces I had still worked really well. I was able to layer easily and still wear dresses and skirts on the warmer days. My favourite and most worn piece this season was my cardigan. I’ve been looking for something super simple that is light weight but still warm and finally found it for this capsule. The simplicity in shape (a little oversized) and colour (light blush) meant I could throw it over almost any outfit. The wool material also makes it small enough to travel with but still really warm. Right now I’m really mad at myself because last week I put it in the wrong wash cycle and it has shrunk!!! It’s so frustrating because I loved it so much and now it still fits but it’s no longer oversized and quite fitted. Oh well… lesson learnt. Always be careful with your washes and read the label.
Before you scroll through to the outfits – if you’d love more details about this capsule and a breakdown of what I included and why you can see it all here.

Creating your Capsule Post Series + Free Workbook / My ’19 Boho Minimal Spring Capsule Wardrobe
Hi Jayde,
I’m currently working on my first capsule wardrobe. I was wondering if you could enlighten me a bit more on the purpose of the Lookbook, and some more information on how to get one together? Maybe some photos of a lookbook, would be great.
I really enjoy your capsule videos and capsule steps/workbook. I live in South Australia.
Blessings, Janelle
Hi Janelle,
Sorry my reply is so late 🙂 That’s a great idea, I will a Lookbook post to my list of ideas for upcoming posts. I hope your first capsule is coming along nicely. The first one is always the biggest challenge.
Big love,
Jayde
