Last week I shared my guide to Entlebuch in Switzerland after our fairytale weekend there and I also wanted to share what I packed for the trip. The in between seasons of spring and autumn can be so tricky to pack for but it is very possible to pack really light if you are a bit more strategic with your outfits. I also find in the cooler months I get so sick of wearing jeans and jackets all the time, so I’ve made an effort to make my outfits a little more exciting (but still versatile) this autumn.
This travel capsule wardrobe for autumn is perfect for those cooler in between seasons days. I packed this travel capsule for our weekend trip to Entlebuch, where temperatures ranged from 7-18°C.
Switzerland / Europe
I’ve put together this travel capsule wardrobe for Switzerland for a short weekend getaway, which including exploring villages and short walks in nature.
Below you can see the outfits I wore over our weekend trip. I like to decide on my outfits before I pack. That way there is zero stress getting dressed each day. You can easily do the same by laying out your outfits and getting a photo of them on your phone to look back at. To make things even simpler you can even put them into a ‘travel outfits’ album so the photos don’t get lost amongst all the travel snaps you’ll be getting!
We attended the Alpine Cattle Descent and folklore festival which was all outdoors. It’s such a unique festival, if you are ever in Switzerland in September/October you should try to get to one.
A day of exploring, visiting the incredible lookout at Brienzier Rothorn and wondering through the fairytale landscape of Rossweid.
