One trend I have been wanting to try for a little while now is the lace bralette. There are so many pretty bralettes and bodysuits out at the moment, and as nice as they are to have for yourself, some are too pretty not to share. So teaming them up with a low-neck or off the shoulder tank or knit is the perfect solution. You get to add some pretty detail to a simple, casual outfit and show off your bralette.
Something else I wasn’t expecting from this look is how comfy it is! Bralettes are all elastic-y, have no wires or cups, and then you get to layer them with loose, soft basics. My favourite ways to style the bralette are:
- Under a v-neck, low-cut or off the shoulder knit or tank
- Under a sheer shirt, so that the lacey details show through
- Under a lace top, the more lace the better I say
Bralettes I Love
There are so many pretty bralette options out at the moment that it can be hard to choose! I prefer to stick with black or white to keep things neutral and versatile and choose something with nice detailing along the edges – because that is the part that will show. I’ve put together some of my favourite picks below!
Lace Bralette (old, similar here) / Social T Solar Tank / Witchery Longline Cardi (old, similar here or here) / Witchery Skinny Jeans (old, similar here) / Windsor Smith Lucee Sandals / Daniel Wellington Sheffield Watch
What are your thoughts on this look? I know I was a little nervous to try it out at first, but since I got my low cut tank I’ve also worn it to the beach to get the same peek-a-boo effect with my swimmers!
